Traditionally, the process of adding a contact involves several steps, which may be perceived as time-consuming:
- Open the Contacts or Phone app
- Press +
- Type in the Name
- Type in the Number
- Tap Done
- If desired, scroll down to add a Note
- For adding a Location, further steps are needed
However, the new Quick Actions feature streamlines these steps:
- Open the app or access it through the app icon's Quick Actions
- Add Phone number, Name, and (if needed) a Note (which can be done through Quick Actions)
- Select Add Location if necessary
- Select Picture icon to add an image
- Tap Add
This improvement not only reduces the number of steps involved but also simplifies the search process. Users can easily search for contacts by using keywords such as "Add," "AddContact," or "Quickly" within the Contacts app.
This enhancement is both efficient and user-friendly, making the task of adding contacts much quicker and simpler.
